This is a blog to record my adventures in Taiwan to those back home who may be interested. I am visiting family and striving to become fluent in Mandarin during my stay in Taipei with the hope of further study after this first goal is met. Any experiences or events that may happen along the way will be a nice bonus.
Note: I will be rating certain foods I post that are more out of what I would consider out of ordinary for myself or friends back home. In an effort to do this, I have set up a rating of 1-5.
1/5: I would prefer not to eat this again, would seek other foods served at the meal or wait till the next meal
2/5: I would eat it but would prefer other things served at the meal
3/5: I would eat this, but probably not order this specifically
4/5: I would order this as part of a meal
5/5: This is amazing and would seek this out whenever possible

Also, my pictures are works in process as I am still very much an amateur so any critical feedback is appreciated. Having outside prospective is important to me.
